Whether you ride or drive loaded, or text, or eat, or do any of the other many stupid things that we as human beings do in our cars and on our bikes, doing any or all will lead to bad shit happening to you. It's already happened to me, and luckily I was the only one hurt.

And Billy has to live with taking the life of another man, a fellow biker, for the rest of his life. I empathize with him. He looks like he lost a child or wife or brother, not a stranger as a result of his actions.

its one thing for a man to fuck up and lose his life to prison and it's trapping, but it's a gut wreching loss when a man loses his life to a drunken degenerate. like kiddie touchers you too will pay the price billy.

This is pretty much a textbook lesson on how to win, then lose, in America. I feel bad for what he's going through, but he deserves it--and probably a good bit more.

He fell into the trap of privilege--something that affects huge numbers of American youth. Heads up, morons, it's OUR world, and we ALL live in it.

There's an unspoken social contract that keeps things going--being a self-important jackass who dictates how traffic acts is not included in the contract. This applies much further than Billy Lane.

Don't attempt to split lanes with a Dodge Ram.

I wonder how cop-hater Hammer at The Horse will spin this.

hammer wont spin it....if you havent noticed....since this happened they have backed away from choppers inc.tiny tiny adds and not the huge whole page ones..no articles billy wrote..etc..its easy to talk smack on billy..hes not in front of your face...but i DO NOT condone his actions.a man is dead..and another mans life is ruined.let billy lane be...he has to live with what he did..and he knows he has to use soap ona rope till he makes parole....

I'll be damed if none of you out there ever made stupid mistakes that ruined a bit part of your life, he was judged guilty so let it be now, i'm sure he's taking it like a man a human figure with feelings, even if he breaks down, he broke down with a reason, imagine yourself talking i'm a biker this a biker that respect the brotherhood then "smack" one day you're on four wheels and hit dead another biker, put yourself in Billy's ShaSha's.....i'm sure by the time he's out, he's gonna do something nobel for the other family's loss, R.I.P. for the dead and stay strong for Mr William.

For a minute I had forgotten.. I am sure he will serve his time like a man, funny how he gets six years and I know drug dealers who have gotten more...

I am sure he will and has thought about the man who's life he has taken everyday. We all make stupid mistakes he just made one that took someone else's life... trust me "privilege" had nothing to do with it.. him and his brother have been at crazy for years..

Only 6 years? I've sat on the toilet longer than that. It's sad to say that a person who built his whole style with a Jack Daniel's bottle in his hand, couldn't for see this one coming. Everytime I ran into the Dude he was drunk or doing a burn out on his bike drunk. I saw him in Vegas doing his Blood, Sweat and Gears show drinking a whole 5th of Jack on stage and try and build a bike. Wasn't this his 4th DUI also? Shit I learned my lesson after the 1st one. I didn't like viewing dead bodies at the Corners Office during my DUI school. I must have to agree once more with my Big Homie 9 1/2. There are a lot more good Dudes that I know doing more time for less of a crime. I really feel for the family that had the loss and not for the person that caused it. You see most likely Billy will make it out of prison and be able to live life with or without guilt. The Man that was killed is no longer and has no more. He's now resting in a small box with a ton of dirt on top of him. Now ask yourself what is heavier a life with or without guilt? Or a lifeless body with a ton of dirt on your chest?

What a waste of talent. I know he deserves everything he got but it also shows how screwed up our judicial system is. Donte Stallworth WR for the Cleveland Browns did the same exact thing, he got 18 months and only served like 10 or 12 of them luckily the NFL stepped in and suspended him a full season.

Stallworth did 30 DAYS, not 10 or 12 months.

Plaxico burress shot his own leg with an unregisterd glock and got 3 years.

Mike Vick bet money on and executed Dogs and did less than 3.

It's weird how those NFL stars acquire their time.

6 years seems like a lenient sentence, but I can't judge. Lane's alcoholism caught up with him, and put an innocent man out for good. I'm sorry for everyone. I had forgotten 'til now about the whole situation.
